On Sunday September 17 we celebrated the beginning of the school year and Our Lady of Sorrows. Mass was presided by Father Paul-Elie Cadet, csc, with the presence of the Congregational Consecrated Life and Heritage Commission (composed of 5 Fathers and 3 Brothers, CSC, as well as Sister Renée Daigle, MSC), of children of the Sainte-Anne Sainte-Croix School and the parish orchestra. The second reading was read in French and English, and part of the Eucharistic prayer was bilingual.
Father Andrew Gawrytch, CSC, as vice postulator of the cause of canonization of Basile Moreau, said a few words on the subject and asked the parishioners of the community to pray for it. At the end of Mass, schoolbags were blessed. Mass was followed by a festive aperitif in the parish room.
