Feast of Saint Joseph

This morning during the 9 a.m. Mass, we celebrated Saint Joseph, patron of the Josephites, Brothers of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
Father Basile Moreau had a strong devotion to Saint Joseph. In difficult moments, he appealed to Saint Joseph saying: “Saint Joseph, be my intercessor and my advocate before God; give me your protection in the midst of my troubles.” After Mass, we went in procession to the statue of Saint Joseph to ask for the intercession of the foster father of Jesus. As Father Moreau had said: “Go to Joseph, and you will find relief. Ask therefore this great Saint to come to your rescue.” (Circular Letter 19, March 1848) To see pictures, check our Facebook page.
