The arrival of Advent 2023 in our parish community and Shrine was marked by a “parish” weekend during which several activities were proposed:
In the morning of Saturday, December 2, an entertaining and formative moment with a dozen altar servers; a walk for parishioners in the gardens of the Abbey of l’Épau in the afternoon and a prayer vigil at 8:30 p.m.
On Sunday, December 3, 1st Sunday of Advent, Mass was followed by an aperitif, the sale of Basile Moreau santon figurine, the preparation of the nativity crib in the Church followed by a snack in the afternoon.
Those who took part in any of these activities expressed their satisfaction with these proposals aimed at encouraging members of the parish community to better immerse themselves in the spirit of the Advent season, to create bonds between them, to cultivate the spirit of brotherhood, community and family.
