The General Council met these days in Le Mans, the birthplace of the Congregation. Friday, March 15, the Superior General, Brother Paul Bednarczyk, csc, attended the mass at the tomb, followed by the chaplet of the Seven Sorrows. Sunday 17, all members of the Council were present at the Sunday mass. Afterward, they prayed at the tomb of Blessed Basile Moreau, praying for his canonization and offering up the intentions of Holy Cross around the world. They are in France as part of the 200 years anniversary of the Brothers of Saint Joseph, now the Brothers of Holy Cross, which will be celebrated on March 19, the day of Saint Joseph, in Ruillé-sur-Loir.
