On Saturday, March 2, 2024, a day for religious and diocesan priests, consecrated, lay people from other countries who work in the diocese of Le Mans, as well as consecrated and lay people of the diocese who had an ecclesial mission outside France, took place at the diocesan house from 10 am to 5 pm, in the presence of Bishop Vuillemin, his general vicar, Father Benoît Pierre and Mrs Isabelle Sureau, member of the diocesan curia.
“The universal mission of the Church” was the theme of the day. The participants, coming from about twenty countries, had the opportunity to share their joy and some difficulties in living this beautiful universal mission of the Church. A guided tour of the Church of Our Lady of Holy Cross/Shrine of Blessed Basil Moreau took place before mass in the chapel.
