September 15-17, the Shrine of Blessed Basil Moreau will celebrate with joy and thanksgiving the 10th anniversary of Father Moreau’s beatification. Friday, September 15: solemn vespers at 6:30pm followed by a concert of sacred music at 8:30pm. Saturday, September 16: conference at 4pm by Msgr. Jean-Louis Bruguès, O.P., archbishop-bishop emeritus of Angers and currently archivist/librarian of the Vatican; prayer vigil at 9pm followed by all night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Sunday, September 17: morning prayer at 9am, a discovery tour (for youth) “Following in the footsteps of Blessed Basil Moreau” from 9:30am to 12pm, and beatification anniversary Mass at 3pm with Msgr. Yves Le Saux, bishop of Le Mans.
