This Friday, 12 June, we celebrated at the Shrine the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the patron saint’s feast day of the Fathers of the Congregation of Holy Cross. After the Mass, presided by Father John De Riso, csc, and concelebrated by Father Joseph Gansalvez, csc, we went in procession to lay candles in front of the bas-relief of the Sacred Heart, where are represented Jesus, Saint Margaret-Mary Alacoque and Saint John Eudes. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in you!
