On Monday, February 2, 2026, on the occasion of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord and the Day of Consecrated Life, a procession with candles led the faithful from the diocesan House to the Cathedral of Saint-Julien in Le Mans.
Leading the procession, the postulants of the Congregation of Holy Cross, from the United States (Nicholas Tarini et Nicholas Thuente, showed here with Fr. joseph Gansalvez) and France, carried the icon of the Presentation of the Lord. The procession took place in the presence of Mgr Jean-Pierre Vuillemin, bishop of Le Mans, who then presided Mass, and was led by Father Paul Valentin, CSC, provincial superior of the Mother Province.
More than 100 men and women, religious, brothers, priests and sisters participated in this special event, witnessing, with candles lit, to the joy and hope of consecrated life within the diocese of Le Mans.
