The Marianites of Holy Cross (led by Sisters Ann Lacour and Renee Daigle) from Louisiana, USA, organized a pilgrimage program in France called “The Beginnings of Holy Cross” for some of the directors, professors and collaborators of the Holy Cross institutions in the USA. They were 12 participants. Fr. Greg Haake, CSC, accompanied the group during the whole pilgrimage.
The second day of their visit they came to the Shrine of Blessed Basil Moreau and Our Lady of Holy Cross Church in Le Mans. After a guided tour, they had mass in front of the tomb of Blessed Basil Moreau, presided by Fr. Joseph Bagnar Gonsalvez, CSC, vice rector of the Shrine.
